Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I by completing a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. In a Financial Center role, use a consultative approach to assess customer needs, build profiles, cross-sell retail consumer and small business products, and set appointments using CAMP and approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions and support the Financial Center platform staff while managing risk and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and conduct outside sales activities including presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff while following policies and procedures, managing risk, and supporting customer satisfaction goals.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
