Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, grow, and develop a team of Enterprise Customer Success Managers for strategic and global accounts in Japan, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing coaching.
  • •Define and operationalize a repeatable customer success motion for the Japanese enterprise market to drive proactive adoption, value realization, and renewal.
  • •Oversee the end-to-end customer lifecycle for your portfolio from onboarding and implementation through ongoing success planning/QBRs and renewal/expansion across product lines and regions.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Support, Enablement, Product, and Finance to deliver a unified, high-quality customer experience and joint account strategies in Japan.
  • •Serve as an executive-level escalation point, ensuring customer issues are triaged, resolved, communicated effectively, and long-term trust and satisfaction are strengthened.

Key Requirements

  • •5–8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or Account Management in B2B SaaS/subscription software with complex enterprise customers.
  • •5+ years of people management experience leading and coaching Enterprise CS or account teams.
  • •Demonstrated success with Fortune 1000 and leading Japanese enterprise customers across stakeholder, procurement, and governance processes.
  • •Fluency in Japanese and business-level English, able to communicate, negotiate, and present effectively with senior stakeholders in both languages.
  • •Data-driven approach using usage metrics, health scores, and commercial signals to forecast risk and identify growth opportunities.
