Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain short- and medium-term freighter operating schedules aligned with commercial requirements, operational feasibility, and network priorities.
  • •Build and optimize aircraft rotations considering maintenance, block hours, airport restrictions, slots, permits, and commercial priorities.
  • •Run 24/48/72-hour forward planning to identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • •Develop recovery options for AOG, disruptions, weather, and regulatory issues; assess swaps, retimings, cancellations, consolidations, and routing alternatives to protect schedule integrity.
  • •Validate significant schedule and system changes executed by reportees (including in AirVision/ENCOM, CORE), coordinate cross-functional resolution, and escalate material network decisions to Senior Scheduling Management as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in Logistics/Cargo within an air cargo or airline environment.
  • •Minimum 3 years of airline scheduling experience, preferably with experience in airline capacity and revenue optimisation management.
  • •Strong experience in airline scheduling, capacity planning and revenue optimisation.
  • •Excellent knowledge of freighter operations fundamentals, including selling rates, aircraft costs and freighter profitability.
  • •Good technical knowledge across aircraft/crew scheduling, slots, and operational recovery planning, with strong communication skills.
