Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner cross-functionally (engineering, research scientists, technical program managers, product managers) to deliver AI-powered products.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and large language model inference.
  • •Implement similarity search with vector databases, plus guardrails, model evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Use open source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, vector databases, Nemo Guardrails, PyTorch) to build scalable AI systems.
  • •Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems and innovate LLM optimization techniques for production performance (scalability, cost, latency, throughput).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 244,700 - 279,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or AI plus 8+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s degree plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms/technologies.
  • •8+ years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
  • •Experience building, training, and deploying AI software components including foundation model training and/or LLM inference.
  • •Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • •Experience architecting and delivering complex AI systems, including guardrails, model evaluation, and experimentation.
  • •Basic and preferred qualifications include mentoring and leading engineering teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders (up to VP level).
