Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver: Act as a Design Lead for elements of a project, liaising directly with clients and the wider design team for day-to-day design development but being guided by a Technical Lead / mentor
  • •Provide Expertise: Manage more junior engineers in the design of infrastructure elements
  • •Deliver: Provide input to the develop (development) of the project
  • •Support: Contribute to project delivery through technical input and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • •Mentor: Lead and develop junior engineers to grow the design capability of the team

Key Requirements

  • •You will ideally be educated to degree level in Civil or Civil & Structural Engineering, and/ or have MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics/ Geotechnical/ Tunnelling Engineering, with/working towards a professional membership.
  • •Broad experience as a designer in Reinforced Concrete to Eurocodes in relation to underground structures (secant piles, capping beams, segmental shaft linings, in situ concrete elements, D-Walls, shafts and tunnels).
  • •Civil or Structural Engineer with good familiarity of Geotechnical Engineering principles as they apply to soil-structure interaction
