Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and grow the Infrastructure engineering team, including hiring, developing engineers, and running an effective on-call rotation.
  • •Own the infrastructure platform roadmap across cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, LLM infrastructure, the data layer, and observability.
  • •Drive the operating model shift from reactive support to strategic, self-serve infrastructure for the rest of engineering.
  • •Reduce blast radius by leading architectural and deployment validation to contain incident scope and duration.
  • •Define production readiness expectations for AI workloads and co-own container security and secrets management with the Security team while ensuring product teams can use the platform effectively.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 265,200 - 331,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5-7+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager leading infrastructure or platform teams.
  • •5+ years of experience as a Software or Infrastructure Engineer with enough depth to lead credibly in design reviews and incident response.
  • •Experience managing the interface between a platform team and product engineering teams, including defining ownership boundaries and building self-serve tooling.
  • •Comfort managing competing demands across a support queue, strategic roadmap, on-call rotation, and fast-moving dependencies.
  • •Familiarity with AWS at scale, observability tooling (Datadog or similar), and deployment pipelines in reliability-focused environments.
