Key Responsibilities

  • •Create commodity and capital sourcing strategies to reduce risk, enable continuous cost reduction, and align with company objectives for payment terms, cash targets, delivery, and savings.
  • •Develop and improve sourcing strategies for Launch & Recovery goals, including evaluating and selecting suppliers based on capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.
  • •Conduct supplier analysis and benchmarking, gather market intelligence, and execute new supplier identification while proactively ensuring continuity of supply.
  • •Manage purchasing transactions (purchase orders) and master data accuracy; administer multimillion-dollar contracts including negotiation of terminology, pricing, scope, and terms.
  • •Execute RFIs/RFPs, run bid events, manage supplier negotiations and ongoing contract management, and drive cost-reduction and quality improvement initiatives across the supplier base.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years in engineering, supply chain, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
  • •Experience with contract negotiation and supplier-facing procurement activities, including sourcing strategies and supplier selection.
  • •Ability to conduct supplier analysis and develop strategic sourcing plans that support risk reduction and continuity of supply.
  • •Strong budget tracking and cost analytical skills with experience using Excel, SQL, and Power BI for data analysis.
  • •Ability to work extended hours/weekends as needed and be available for up to 50% travel (including international travel).
