Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end logistics cost processes for imported goods, including daily spend monitoring, weekly reporting, and monthly results vs. plans.
  • •Perform logistics cost tracking, accrual/CMF reporting, invoice processing, and forecasting of expected spend, risks, and over/above costs.
  • •Identify, lead, and implement cost-avoidance and savings initiatives across the logistics cost center for Canadian operations.
  • •Provide guidance and leadership on HS code classification, import duties, and related recoup/amendment processes, including new product set-up responsibilities.
  • •Coordinate tariff negotiations, CBSA duties/HS classification/reclamation, trade agreement/commercial invoice liaison, audits/finance review, and ad-hoc reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary education from a recognized college or university required.
  • •SAP/ERP competency required.
  • •3–5+ years of logistics cost management experience, including invoice verification and tariff master creation/maintenance.
