Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with the development and execution of the annual audit plan.
  • •Plan and perform internal audits focused on risk, including development of audit programs and audit issues and reports.
  • •Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment.
  • •Review audit work papers and deliverables for quality, accuracy, and achievement of audit objectives.
  • •Perform financial and operational audits, analyze data to recommend process improvements, and support issue remediation with control owners.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of internal audit experience in public accounting and/or corporate roles, focused on financial and accounting applications and controls.
  • •Strong mathematical and analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as ACL/Galvanize and IDEA.
  • •Ability to create and analyze process flowcharts to identify internal control weaknesses and process improvement opportunities.
  • •Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills working with all levels of management.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or related field with an Accounting Certificate/qualification meeting California CPA eligibility requirements).
