Key Responsibilities

  • •Own sourcing strategy and supplier execution across the full robot BOM, including actuators, motors, gearboxes, sensors, compute modules, PCBAs, harnessing, and mechanical/structural assemblies.
  • •Build and expand a resilient global supply base by managing supplier selection, capacity planning, dual-sourcing, and risk mitigation.
  • •Establish sourcing processes, metrics, and supplier performance management frameworks for a rapidly scaling robotics organization.
  • •Own BOM cost targets as the platform scales, driving cost improvements through negotiation, should-cost analysis, and value engineering.
  • •Ensure material continuity across in-house and outsourced manufacturing using RFQ/RFP and MRP/ERP systems; lead transitions to contract manufacturing and support NPI and production ramp activities with suppliers across global regions.
