Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather requirements and design, deploy, and support enterprise security solutions for classified networks.
  • •Apply enterprise security lessons learned and standards to smaller classified environments.
  • •Design, deploy, and operate security controls across authentication/identity, on-premises SIEM, endpoint/host protection, and vulnerability management.
  • •Harden traditional IT services (email, file servers/shares, directory services, collaboration tools, internal apps) by reviewing permissions and access models to reduce standing privilege.
  • •Lead or support detection, triage, and incident response; recommend and implement improvements via change control; document standards and automate repeatable security tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in computer science/cybersecurity (or STEM) OR 4+ years of professional experience in enterprise IT security engineering.
  • •3+ years securing traditional IT environments including identity/MFA, endpoint security, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and email/file services.
  • •Experience administering or operating at least two of: on-premises SIEM, enterprise EDR/AV, enterprise vulnerability management platform.
  • •Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • •Experience with classified/restricted engineering or corporate user environments is preferred.
