Job Summary

Provide engineering designs, plans, installs, and maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in mission-critical data centers. Analyze operating conditions and facility performance data to recommend preventative and proactive maintenance, upgrades, and improved maintenance procedures. Support Facility Operations during critical system failures with technical troubleshooting, ensure compliance with safety standards, and help deliver datacenter infrastructure projects while meeting operational SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, plan, install, and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems in data center environments.
•Understand sensitive facility components and support Facility Operations during critical system failures.
•Analyze current operating conditions and facility systems to recommend preventative and proactive maintenance methods.
•Evaluate facility standards and practices to improve maintenance procedures and operational efficiency.
•Coordinate compliance with safety standards, emergency response, service delivery to meet operational SLAs, and participate in datacenter infrastructure projects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent field experience).
•5+ years of experience in critical facility/datacenter technical operations and maintenance or engineering design of critical systems.
•Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety monitoring/control systems used in critical environments.
•Strong knowledge of critical facilities/datacenter operations and maintenance.
•Relevant vendor certifications and beneficial certifications such as AOS, ATD, CDFOM, and CDCDP.
