Lead investment compliance and trustee oversight for collective investment managers, ensuring activities follow Korean financial regulations. Key Responsibilities

•Supervise collective investment managers’ activities to ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
•Review and manage business documentation related to the trustee/custodian activities.
•Monitor and report investment breaches by asset managers, including escalation and stakeholder communication.
•Support committee meeting arrangements and provide MI reports to relevant stakeholders.
•Coordinate with global custodians and offshore transfer agents to support offshore investment implementation, and manage independent product/service processing and customer communication.

Key Requirements

•Deep understanding of the Korean Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act, including trustee oversight obligations and liability risks.
•Proven experience handling investment limit breaches, regulatory escalations, and dispute resolution with Asset Management Companies (AMCs).
•Practical knowledge of trustee/fund business, global custody, and cross-border processing, including working with AMCs, global custodians, offshore transfer agents, and foreign counterparties.
•Fluent/professional Business English for stakeholder reporting, committee documentation, and global custodian communication.
•At least 7 years of relevant experience in trustee (fund) business or compliance, with experience leading a team and managing KPIs.
