Job Summary

Lead technical evaluation, lab design strategy, infrastructure standards, and construction oversight for high-density data center environments. Own site readiness and scalability by performing due diligence on power, cooling, redundancy, environmental risk, connectivity, and expansion potential. Set global lab design direction across business units, integrate energy-efficient and sustainable design, and govern DCIM/monitoring and automation platforms while tracking schedule, budget, and commissioning readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct data center due diligence and strategic assessments for facilities, including reviewing infrastructure drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams and reporting technical/schedule/scalability risks.
•Lead lab design and global standards by defining modular, scalable designs and establishing worldwide lab design standards across AMD business units and use cases.
•Drive infrastructure strategy and technology integration, including power distribution, cooling systems, IT networking space, rack density, and high-density/liquid cooling readiness.
•Implement and govern DCIM, monitoring, and automation platforms and ensure deployment scalability through modular, POD-based expansion strategies.
•Oversee construction monitoring, design reviews, commissioning, and cross-functional program management while providing executive-level reporting on risk, budget, and schedule health.

Key Requirements

•Perform technical due diligence on new and existing facilities, evaluating power availability, redundancy, cooling capacity, environmental risk, connectivity, and expansion potential.
•Develop scalable, modular lab designs optimized for density, airflow, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
•Establish and drive global lab design standards across business units while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
•Define infrastructure strategy and technology integration for power distribution, cooling systems, IT networking space, and rack density, including high-density and liquid cooling readiness.
•Lead construction monitoring and deployment governance, including design reviews, commissioning oversight, and validating operational readiness prior to deployment.
