Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as AECOM’s senior corporate authority for hydraulic engineering, pumping system intakes, and related infrastructure systems.
  • •Provide technical leadership and advisory support on the most complex, high-profile global water practice projects.
  • •Lead independent technical reviews and participate in executive-level quality assurance and technical governance programs.
  • •Advise on planning, design, rehabilitation, and optimization of water, wastewater, stormwater, and conveyance infrastructure systems.
  • •Represent AECOM in major pursuits and technical forums, chair or serve on corporate technical review committees, and mentor engineering leaders and professionals.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Environmental Engineering (or related) plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Progressively responsible experience in hydraulic engineering, pumping system intakes, and water conveyance infrastructure.
  • •Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with ability to obtain PE licensure in additional jurisdictions through comity/reciprocity.
  • •Demonstrated recognition as a national or international technical authority in hydraulic engineering, including strong understanding of HI, AWWA, USBR, and USACE guidance and related best practices.
  • •Extensive experience leading complex hydraulic analyses and physical hydraulic modeling studies; ability to communicate complex concepts to clients and executive leadership.
