Job Summary

Supervise and train production personnel during shift operations, ensuring safe manufacturing, high-quality output, and on-time delivery. Coordinate daily production workflow, safety procedures, and quality control compliance; operate work-center stations for training and troubleshooting. Lead shift huddles and shift handoffs, maintain accurate production reports, and support performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and monthly safety training activities. Partner with maintenance, safety, HR, customer service, and plant leadership to drive shift efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise personnel and oversee production workflow, safety, and quality during shift operations
•Operate all stations of the work center to support employee training and troubleshooting
•Ensure employees are instructed on proper safety procedures and wear correct safety equipment
•Assist the Production Manager with production line personnel, workflow, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
•Complete shift meetings, production reports (including back orders and hot items), and help with monthly safety training for shift personnel

Key Requirements

•At least 3 years of lead/supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
•Operate under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and prioritize workload and capacity while multitasking
•Lead by example and build effective teams
•Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
•Ability to work in a factory environment and perform manual labor, including lifting up to 40 lbs frequently
