Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership, direction, and development to Planners to ensure accountability for duties, responsibilities, and actions to identify, communicate, and solve problems.
  • •Coordinate with Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Material Planning, and other Technical Operation Departments to maintain an executable bill of work considering out-of-service and critical aircraft.
  • •Ensure Planners effectively manage station requirements and forecasted workload to prevent unscheduled out-of-service events.
  • •Manage employee schedules and time (sick/vacation), overtime, OSHA Occupational Injury Reports, and administer program and records.
  • •Oversee procedural changes and information sharing, lead workforce actions, and conduct probationary progress reports and on-the-job training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training.
  • •3+ years of experience in an Aircraft Maintenance Planning environment.
  • •Working knowledge of Maintenance Planning Systems (SCEPTRE, AMPS).
  • •Ability to navigate and work with AA web-based systems (ASOM, AMPS, SAFE, APC).
  • •Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work various shifts (day, nights, weekends, holidays) in a 24/7 operation.
