Job Summary

VP-level product governance specialist responsible for coordinating the strategic product roadmap and governance for SMBC Group’s Global Markets Fixed Income products. You will collaborate with trading desks, sales, IT, and risk/compliance to prepare business cases, maintain governance artefacts, and ensure NPC approvals, lifecycle reviews, and post-implementation governance across EMEA and AD.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate the approval of new products for Sale & Trading across EMEA/AD, supporting NPC processes.
•Collaborate with global trading, sales, downstream functions, and IT to prepare business cases and NPC approval conditions.
•Develop and maintain governance artefacts such as product standards, trader mandates, and data lineage documentation.
•Partner with transformation/project management to address NPC conditions and support go-live.
•Support post-approval reviews to monitor profits, volumes, risks and regulatory concerns and contribute to lifecycle product reviews.
