Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage supplier performance to meet product quality and on-time delivery requirements, utilizing PM and quality tools to run programs.
  • •Coordinate communications between Thales business units and suppliers to execute programs and meet Thales requirements.
  • •Lead New Product Introduction milestone reviews and establish organizational work & resource breakdown structures to align stakeholders.
  • •Prepare dashboards and routine internal department reporting; establish transparent communication mechanisms for projects.
  • •Resolve supplier queries and quality issues (including first-article/prototype inspection and qualification, series-phase support) and drive supplier development using Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical background in heavy mechanical fabrication, fixture design & development, and high-level integration, preferably with fabrication industry experience.
  • •Program/project management skills to manage High Level Assemblies and handle medium to complex build-to-specification assemblies with minimal support.
  • •Excellent knowledge of mechanical quality standards for Aerospace and Defense, including AS9100, IAQG, and NADCAP, including weld quality assessment.
  • •Lean and Six Sigma knowledge is mandatory, with experience using PM and quality tools to manage programs.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, with 10–15 years of industrial exposure; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; French knowledge is an added advantage.
