Job Summary

Deliver flight training in simulators and ground school in line with regulatory requirements, CAE-approved curriculum, and customer needs. Serve as a subject matter expert to guide client training and conduct thorough pre- and post-flight simulator briefings. Maintain training records and instructional qualifications, and help develop curricula/courseware when required. After 1.5 years, qualified instructors may be designated as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and contract check airman.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide simulator/flight or classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
•Conduct thorough pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards.
•Complete required administrative duties, including maintaining training records and recommending remedial training when necessary.
•Act as a subject matter expert in creating curricula and courseware when required.
•After 1.5 years, qualify (as designated) as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.

Key Requirements

•Hold or be able to qualify for an unrestricted ATP certificate and at least one unrestricted PIC Jet Type Rating.
•Pass training expectations including a 2-year training commitment.
•Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs.
•Must participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
•Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance and able to meet U.S. Government contract requirements (U.S. citizens only).
