Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and deliver capital investment projects as part of a team, providing client-side cost/commercial management across the project delivery lifecycle.
  • •Attend meetings, contribute to the PEP, prepare cost reports, assist with procurement strategies and tender documentation, and perform general post-contract commercial management and administration.
  • •Engage with the client, contractor and other stakeholders to ensure delivery within agreed parameters and help prevent disputes.
  • •Oversee client-side cost management including stakeholder, risk and contract management.
  • •Ensure projects and commissions are delivered to client satisfaction for quality, cost and time.
  • •Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members; support business development opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • •Provide support on NEC4 contracts, administering through contract management systems and advising on procurement strategies and tender documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Infrastructure cost/commercial management experience (Water industry experience desirable)
  • •Knowledge and understanding of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
  • •Experience of working as part of an integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams
  • •Good communication and organisational skills
  • •Relationship building skills –ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholders as well as an ability to build and maintain networks of business contacts.
