Job Summary

Lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for the full plant location, managing OSHA/EPA and state/local regulatory compliance. Maintain OSHA records, develop corrective action plans, and perform operational hazard assessments with engineering controls and protective equipment. Train personnel on OSHA requirements and first aid, lead injury/Workers’ Compensation claim investigations, and champion a site safety culture. Directly manage the EHS staff and partner across Quality, Sanitation, and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage plant-wide Environmental, Health, and Safety programs related to OSHA, EPA, and other state/local agencies.
•Maintain OSHA records and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurring problems.
•Establish health and safety programs and coordinate with other functions (Quality, Sanitation, Maintenance) for overlapping objectives.
•Perform operational hazard assessments, identify hazards and incidents of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
•Train personnel on mandatory OSHA compliance training, first aid responders, and operational hazard-specific training; lead injury/Workers’ Compensation claim management and investigations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 102,900 - 141,500 annually
