Key Responsibilities

•Conduct MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program compliant tasks (management, analysis, evaluation, verification)
•Interpret system requirements, customer specifications and military standards to ensure safety
•Collaborate with Systems, Software, Electrical, and Hardware engineering to eliminate or control hazards
•Brief safety considerations at technical reviews and safety approvals
•Prepare internal and customer reports describing System Safety analyses and findings

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years relevant System Safety experience

•Experience as a lead System Safety Engineer on DoD programs
