Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair terminal equipment including valves, gauges, meters, tanks, pumps, steam boilers, heat exchangers, and air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on dry bulk conveyor equipment, environmental control equipment (e.g., baghouse/dust collectors), and heavy equipment such as track mobiles and loaders.
  • •Complete maintenance/service documentation, recordkeeping, and daily logs (handwritten or electronic) using computers for tracking and inventory purposes.
  • •Comply with all Company safety rules and regulations and attend assigned training courses for operations and safety.
  • •Coordinate with Operations to minimize operational impacts and recognize the scope and limits of third-party work on Company property.

Key Requirements

  • •High school degree or equivalent plus a 2-year degree or technical school degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Corrosion (or equivalent combination of school, training, and experience).
  • •At least 1 year of work experience or apprenticeship performing maintenance activities in one or more core disciplines.
  • •Demonstrated ability to perform basic maintenance activities in at least one core competency.
  • •Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • •Meet criteria to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) as required by USCG/DHS regulations.
