Key Responsibilities

  • •Review contract documents, approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, health and safety requirements, and track approved revisions or updates.
  • •Monitor contractor compliance with contract standards and approved documents; conduct daily site supervision and inspections of civil and infrastructure works.
  • •Verify construction dimensions and levels, perform site measurements/quantity verification and surveying checks (e.g., pipe alignments, invert levels, gradients), and inspect delivered materials against approved submittals.
  • •Apply quality control procedures, audit conformity of construction activities, identify defective/non-conforming work, and ensure corrective actions and documentation are maintained.
  • •Maintain accurate daily records and prepare daily inspection and site reports covering completed works, ongoing activities, work orders, deliveries, inspections/testing, resources, site issues, and photographs/technical correspondence as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience as a Civil Inspector on infrastructure, utilities, roads, drainage, pipelines, or similar civil construction projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, inspection procedures, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • •Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material testing, and site documentation.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents, with knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.
