Job Summary

Join the Water Resources team to support flood studies, stormwater management, water quality assessments, and urban water design. Under guidance from experienced engineers and scientists, you’ll help with WSUD, drainage design, and hydraulic modelling by compiling data and preparing draft deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist with report drafting and documentation, and gain exposure to local and national initiatives through real projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to flood studies, stormwater management, water quality assessments, and urban water design under supervision.
•Assist with water sensitive urban design (WSUD), drainage design, and hydraulic modelling by compiling data and preparing draft inputs/deliverables.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated and integrated solutions.
•Support project coordination activities, including help with report drafting and documentation.
•Observe or assist with client engagement depending on project needs and interests.

•Be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.

•Able to work full time from mid November 2026 to mid February 2027.
•Must have full working rights to work in Australia before applying (student and graduate visas are accepted).
