Job Summary

Senior Pavement Engineer to lead pavement engineering and construction materials work across airports, ports, highways, and related transport infrastructure. You’ll own technical tasks within projects, review peers’ work, engage with clients, define scope and resources, and contribute to tools and workflows in a multidisciplinary team with hybrid working options.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical tasks or small work packages within larger projects
•Deliver pavement design, assessment, back analysis, and materials-related work with limited supervision
•Independently interrogate standards, specifications, and guidance, forming a technical view before peer input
•Review and check technical work produced by Engineers and other Senior Engineers
•Provide technical input to scope definition, fee estimates, and resourcing discussions

Key Requirements

•An engineering degree or equivalent, with progress towards Chartership highly valued
•Established professional experience at Senior Engineer level
•Professional experience in pavement engineering and construction materials (e.g. asphalt, aggregates, concrete hydraulically bound materials, soils) across airports, ports, highways or related infrastructure
•Comfortable engaging in technical discussions with clients and project teams
•Ability to operate independently with technical judgement and contribute to scope, fees, and resourcing discussions
