Job Summary

Own revenue accounting for SpaceXAI’s AI platform and services, including usage-based billing, subscriptions, and enterprise agreements. Prepare and reconcile journal entries for monthly and quarterly internal/external reporting, ensuring transactions are accounted for under US GAAP. Partner with technical accounting and cross-functional teams to document new initiatives, improve and automate revenue processes, and support audits, analyses, and revenue-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Calculate, analyze, and report revenue for SpaceXAI’s AI platform and services, including Grok API usage-based billing, subscriptions, and enterprise agreements.
•Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
•Partner with technical accounting to document new product and platform initiatives and ensure transactions are accounted for in accordance with US GAAP.
•Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to simplify, eliminate, or automate revenue systems and reporting.
•Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Legal; support audits, ad hoc analyses, user acceptance testing, and revenue-related projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of accounting experience.
•CPA license or equivalent.
•Minimum 4 years in revenue accounting (SaaS/technology revenue experience strongly preferred).
•Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics/BI tools (SQL, Power BI, Superset, Alteryx).
•Experience with ERP and billing systems (Oracle, HubSpot, Stripe Billing) and strong understanding of ASC 606.
