Job Summary

Lead technical delivery across the full sales cycle, from RFIs and RFPs/RFQs through customer-facing POCs. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, translating security and networking requirements into winning solutions. Present confidently via whiteboarding and technical documentation, maintain accurate CRM activity in Salesforce, and continuously deepen product, competitive, and threat-knowledge to improve deal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs when required.
•Participate in and help manage POCs with internal teams, the customer, and/or commercial partners.
•Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in collaboration with the sales partner.
•Position Fortinet solutions remotely or in person using whiteboarding, technical white papers, technical plans, and customer discussions.
•Maintain accurate technical activity, contact, and account information in Salesforce CRM.

Key Requirements

•Have a high aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with knowledge of network security (intrusion detection, antivirus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN).
•Have current or prior experience in a pre-sales engineer role owning end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and how they contributed to key wins.
•Understand and be able to build and maintain customer relationships, communicating technically to external and internal stakeholders.
•Have strong knowledge of security solutions including firewall technology, routing, SD-WAN, IPSEC, SSL-VPN, anti-DDoS, WAF, SIEM, SOAR, and authentication (including dual-/multi-factor).
