Drive a tack/distributor truck to job sites and transport emulsion to specified destinations while supporting paving operations. Key Responsibilities

•Drive the distributor/tack truck to destinations safely and efficiently.
•Assist the paving crew with other tasks when not operating the distributor truck.
•Maintain telephone or radio contact with the supervisor and direct paving trucks to the job site.
•Load the truck from the emulsion tank and apply emulsion to road surfaces prior to paving.
•Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintain required truck logs per state and federal regulations.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
•CDL Class A or B with tank and hazmat endorsement required (also requires tanker and air brakes per posting).
•1–2 years of distributor truck driver experience required.

•Willing to travel/work away from home and work nights/weekends when necessary; wear required PPE and comply with OSHA/MSHA rules.
