Job Summary

Provide L1 networking managed services to keep client IT infrastructure and systems running reliably. Monitor environments for errors, investigate and resolve first-line incidents using approved procedures, and support request fulfillment through ITSM tickets, chat, and telephony. Perform maintenance such as patching and configuration changes, ensure smooth shift handovers, and contribute to optimization through automation opportunities, process improvements, and knowledge updates.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to detect errors before or as soon as they occur.
•Investigate first-line incidents, identify root causes, and resolve using approved procedures for request fulfillment.
•Support clients via telephonic, ITSM ticket, and chat support, following SOPs.
•Execute maintenance activities including patching and configuration changes and ensure smooth shift handovers.
•Escalate incidents and requests when necessary, and contribute to optimization through automation and process improvements, including updating knowledge articles.

Key Requirements

•Basic understanding of technologies including Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr and ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, and Meraki switches, plus routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
•Highly disciplined ticket handling using defined SOPs, acting promptly day to day.
•Strong understanding of ITSM tools and ITSM processes.
•Strong planning skills to consider changes and circumstances.
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience.
