Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution systems and building services for water and wastewater facilities.
•Prepare design drawings including single line diagrams, electrical plans, wiring schematics, schedules, and related documents.
•Perform electrical system calculations and studies (load, harmonics, voltage drop, lighting, short circuit, coordination, arc flash) using software such as SKM, EDSA, and Easy Power.
•Review and coordinate instrumentation, control system process P&IDs, mechanical and HVAC systems and design related electrical systems.
•Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines and develop electrical equipment specifications to ensure code compliance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS/BA Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 6 years of related experience or equivalent
•Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania, Delaware, or New Jersey or ability to obtain within 1 year
•Experience designing low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution systems and building services for water and wastewater facilities
•Experience designing lighting, fire alarm, telephone, security and grounding systems
•Preferred: 8+ years as Electrical Engineer; Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit; strong knowledge of electrical design codes and standards
