Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic planning and operational vision to ensure the facility can meet future demand and align management behaviors with Carvana culture.
  • •Lead production planning, capacity management, weekly performance reviews, and root-cause resolution for issues impacting performance.
  • •Ensure operating standards are executed, including standardized work, 5S, visual management tools, and compliance with health and safety and loss prevention guidelines.
  • •Manage people: participate in hiring, maintain leadership candidate pipelines, oversee progression/training and certification, provide competency-based feedback, and mentor reconditioning managers.
  • •Drive continuous improvement events by allocating resources, holding the team accountable for results, and training/mentoring managers on problem-solving.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 8 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing, leading multiple work groups.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
  • •Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • •Proven track record of leading and developing associates and achieving project deliverables and company metrics.
  • •Ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced production environment, including exposure to heat/cold.
