Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the strategic direction for the supplier engineering organization and ensure tactical execution for the electronics and computing supplier engineering domain.
  • •Own NPI engineering transition to manufacturing at PDC suppliers, including design for manufacturing, testability, PFMEA, and FAI activities.
  • •Qualify and maintain suppliers’ robust volume manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure, and support products on the manufacturing floor by detecting and resolving quality issues.
  • •Lead technical projects to increase vendors’ capacity and drive improvements to reduce cycle time, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.
  • •Act as a primary interface and escalation path for supplier quality deliverables, including supplier performance monitoring, scorecard development for high-impact suppliers, and leading problem resolution/escalation.

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical Engineering degree.
  • •5+ years as a technical manager with experience managing a team.
  • •Experience working with suppliers through development/engineering transitions.
  • •Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and engineering processes, including electronics modules and semiconductors industry standards.
  • •At least 10 years of experience in electronics boards or power-supplies manufacturing processes.
