Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Work Environment engineering area, building and improving internal platform systems used daily by Alaners.
  • •Set technical direction and engineering standards, including architecture decisions, quality standards, security practices, and incident response.
  • •Hire, develop, and grow a team, owning talent density, onboarding, feedback, and the mix of skills needed.
  • •Partner with product functions to shape the roadmap and drive trade-offs to delivery.
  • •Stay hands-on by reviewing code and writing some while leading operational excellence.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years leading engineering teams with a track record of building high-performing engineers.
  • •Partner with other product functions to shape the roadmap, name trade-offs, and help the team commit to delivery.
  • •Establish engineering excellence standards and guide architectural decisions.
  • •Hands-on experience: you still review code and write some.
  • •Fluent in English (French is a plus).
