Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead on employment legal advice across assigned regions, supporting complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters on a multi-jurisdictional basis.
  • •Manage employment disputes and litigation, including strategy development and instruction/supervision of external counsel.
  • •Support restructurings and workforce change programmes, ensuring effective management of employment-related legal risk.
  • •Develop and deliver employment-related policies, training, and guidance while monitoring legislative developments for ongoing compliance.
  • •Build trusted relationships with HR and senior business stakeholders and communicate complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically.

Key Requirements

  • •Education and qualification as a lawyer (solicitor/barrister or equivalent) and a valid/current law license.
  • •Post-qualified experience advising on in-house or private practice employment matters.
  • •Significant experience across contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including employment litigation, investigations, restructurings, and workforce compliance.
  • •Experience advising on disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters, including workplace investigations.
  • •Experience drafting and implementing employment policies and procedures, and managing external employment counsel across jurisdictions.
