Job Summary

Partner with Metals Operations to monitor department cost transactions, run month-end close, and deliver cost and trend analysis. Own budgeting support for the Metals budgeting process, including cost modeling, SAP uploads, and plan presentations. Manage and upskill stakeholders in cost control, evaluate capital projects up to $10M, and improve finance tools and reporting to provide actionable insights for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor department cost transactions and conduct month-end close processes.
•Provide cost and trend analysis and support the Metals Operations budgeting process, including cost model, SAP uploads, and plan presentations.
•Manage and upskill stakeholders in cost control.
•Evaluate department capital projects ($10M or less).
•Manage and improve financial tools and systems and provide financial insights and reporting to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus 10 years of related work experience.
•10 years of experience in finance and presenting complex financial or operational data to internal stakeholders.
•5 years of experience in mining operations.
•5 years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling, including analyzing business and value chain data and making recommendations.
•5 years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects and using Microsoft Office, SAP, and Power BI.
