Job Summary

Work directly with the CEO to build recruiting as a go-to-market function—identifying the highest-impact hires and talent markets, developing a differentiated talent strategy, and creating repeatable playbooks. You’ll map talent communities, engage and assess candidates—including those not actively searching—and shape how the company’s mission and opportunities are communicated to each market, driving Forus’s most important searches.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the CEO and company leaders to determine which hires and talent markets can have the greatest impact on Forus.
•Develop a point of view on what exceptional performance looks like across critical functions, beyond credentials or titles.
•Build deep maps of talent markets, companies, communities, and individual candidates, including passive candidates.
•Design strategies to identify and engage exceptional people through targeted communities, events, referrals, research, content, competitions, partnerships, and other channels.
•Create evaluation approaches and repeatable strategic playbooks so the broader recruiting team can apply learnings across roles and markets.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 250,000 annually

•Strong written and verbal communication, including understanding what motivates individuals and explaining why Forus is the right fit.
•Technical and analytical fluency to understand unfamiliar roles quickly, evaluate evidence critically, work with data, and test new tools or approaches.
•High agency and creativity—creating different channels when obvious ones don’t produce the right people.
