Student Attendance Specialist

Ensure students attend school regularly by investigating unexcused or excessive absences, contacting families, and assisting with problem-solving. Coordinate school-wide attendance and absenteeism prevention efforts with teachers and support teams, issue attendance-based warnings, and participate in truancy intervention and meetings. Produce attendance and truancy reports for the school, county, and state, ensure compliance with attendance laws and policies, and help develop individualized action plans and educational workshops for staff and families.
