Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost-management strategies, including vendor prequalification, proposal/bid assessment and bid interviews.
  • •Develop and review project estimates, including benchmarking and risk assessments, and present estimates and value engineering recommendations to clients.
  • •Establish and manage cost reporting schedules, review and present cost reports/forecasts, and maintain a commercial risk register.
  • •Manage cost control activities by reviewing payment assessments and change-order requests, liaising with project managers, and applying dispute prevention/resolution procedures.
  • •Oversee invoicing and post-contract closeouts, including final accounting, post-contract reviews, lesson-learned documentation, and handover procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards RICS is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large-sized construction projects.
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with good knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
