Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with hardware, control, and system engineers to define software requirements, architectures, and designs for fault-tolerant spacecraft.
  • •Rapidly prototype software solutions to prove architecture/design concepts, quantify technical risk, and create new capabilities.
  • •Implement and integrate designs in C/C++, develop and run unit tests, validate on Hardware-in-the-Loop, and release real-time embedded solutions.
  • •Assist with system verification and qualification by assessing outputs and documenting results to meet mission-critical standards.
  • •Own software development and problem resolution from program inception through post-launch support, including code reviews and interface verification.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in software or hardware engineering across requirements, design, development, and test, including working with both software and hardware.
  • •2+ years of experience working with Linux.
  • •2+ years of experience programming in C and C++.
  • •Experience in an embedded environment and/or bare metal C on a microcontroller.
  • •Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start required).
