Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform and coordinate process engineering activities for upstream offshore oil and gas projects.
  • •Develop and review process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, design basis documents, heat/material balances, datasheets, utility summaries, process narratives, and relief/flare calculations.
  • •Conduct process simulations, calculations, and design studies using industry-standard software.
  • •Support process safety activities including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA studies.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and review/comment on vendor documents; support procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up while identifying technical risks and recommending mitigations; mentor junior engineers and interface with clients/PMC/EPC contractors/vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or process engineering.
  • •Minimum 15 years of relevant Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • •Demonstrated Senior Process Engineer experience on major EPC, EPCM, or PMC projects, preferably within a PMC environment.
  • •Extensive experience in upstream offshore process facilities (e.g., CPPs, wellhead platforms, separation systems, produced water treatment, gas compression, dehydration/sweetening, offshore pipelines, utility and flare systems).
  • •Mandatory experience delivering large-scale offshore oil and gas projects with project experience in the Middle East/GCC region; involvement in FEED and Detailed Engineering for major offshore projects.
