Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and servicing on machinery to keep equipment operating optimally.
  • •Identify root causes of unexpected breakdowns and repair machines quickly and efficiently to reduce downtime.
  • •Record and report damaged or worn parts, and order and install replacement parts as needed.
  • •Maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies through cleaning, organizing, and inventory/stock management.
  • •Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance and collaborate on modifications for new products; implement improvement opportunities when identified.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanically inclined with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints to diagnose manufacturing equipment problems.
  • •Good computer literacy to enter work records in the appropriate program.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certificate in an appropriate field is preferred, and candidates must pass internal required testing.
