Job Summary

Join the Resources and Industrial team to support mechanical engineering design and delivery across industrial, mining, water, and local government projects. Key Responsibilities

•Support mechanical engineering design and preparation of technical documentation for infrastructure and industrial projects.
•Assist with new-build, upgrade, and refurbishment work across process, water, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure.
•Contribute to engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and other deliverables under guidance.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, practical, and sustainable engineering solutions.
•Support project coordination activities such as document management, tracking deliverables, and attending site visits and project meetings.

Key Requirements

•Penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•Strong interest in mining, fuel, and industrial decarbonisation.
•Must be able to work full-time hours from 16 November 2026 to 19 February 2027.
•Full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying; student and graduate visas are accepted.
•Curious, proactive, adaptable, and committed to professionalism and integrity with strong communication and teamwork skills.
