Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead underwriting teammates in collecting and analyzing data from property owners, borrowers, lenders, and third parties to prepare mortgage loan submissions for Agency and Truist credit approvals.
  • •Manage the due diligence process, including maintaining deal files, organizing and tracking items, updating checklists, and coordinating with Closing for funding and delivery.
  • •Coordinate property inspections and document physical/economic conditions and neighborhood and comparable property conclusions using presentations with maps and aerials.
  • •Manage, review, and interpret third-party reports (appraisals, physical needs assessments, environmental reports) to confirm Agency requirement adherence.
  • •Perform thorough credit and financial analysis of borrower entities and principals and ensure underwriting narratives are accurate and credit decisions are well supported.
