Key Responsibilities

  • •Assure the quality and integrity of each project and bring projects in on schedule and within budget.
  • •Use in-house construction management procedures to provide continuity and consistency of construction management with quality assurance and reliable control.
  • •Oversee total construction field effort to ensure the project is built per design, specifications, budgets, and schedules (including projects/subsets above USD 500 million).
  • •Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables, including executing multiple field disciplines/subsets in accordance with the contract and Wood policies.
  • •Manage and control project cost and schedule for assigned disciplines/subsets, coordinate installation, commissioning, and completion activities, and monitor/report work progress against the plan.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree with a minimum of 20 years oil and gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects (> 500M USD) with construction management and site management focus.
  • •Experience on major capital projects (> 500M USD) with construction management and site management responsibilities.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English.
  • •Willing to travel extensively for multi-week periods and flexible to adjust work location to support project needs.
  • •Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
