Key Responsibilities

  • •Load and unload trucks and rail cars.
  • •Move material and products from storage to work areas and vice versa as required.
  • •Break packs as needed, ensure correct size and labeling, and load product onto trucks or rail cars.
  • •Provide general preventive maintenance, complete pre-shift equipment checklists, and report problems or concerns.
  • •Maintain the yard, ensure it is organized and clean, complete required paperwork, empty trash and wood hoppers, and follow forklift safety rules and policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school education (9th-grade basic education); high school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • •6 months to 1 year of experience driving a forklift or operating similar equipment (preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques (preferred).
  • •Successfully complete the Forklift Driver licensing process.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age.
