Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute risk-based IT audits across EU operations, covering technology, cybersecurity, ICT risk, operational resilience, data protection, and third-party risk areas.
  • •Assess the design and effectiveness of ICT governance and controls against EU regulatory requirements, including DORA/RTS/delegated regulations, MiCA, MiFID II, EMI/payment services, GDPR, and NIS2.
  • •Contribute to EU risk assessment and the annual IT audit plan, including walkthroughs and risk assessments with stakeholders to understand key systems and controls.
  • •Develop and report audit findings with risk articulation, regulatory references, root-cause analysis, and practical remediation recommendations; provide updates to senior management and governance forums.
  • •Validate remediation progress and support EU regulatory inspections and supervisory engagements relevant to EU-regulated activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Risk Management, or related discipline.
  • •8–12 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, ICT risk, or technology assurance, preferably in financial services/fintech/payment services/regulated digital asset environments.
  • •Lead technology audits independently across risk assessment, audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, and remediation validation.
  • •Strong understanding of EU ICT and digital finance regulations, including DORA (and related RTS/delegated regulations), MiCA, MiFID II, EMI/payment services, GDPR, NIS2, and relevant EBA guidelines.
  • •CISA or CISM certification required; additional certifications such as CRISC/CISSP (or equivalent) are advantageous.
