Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete welding assignments and procedures for construction and repair of site structural stands on time and safely
  • •Cut, trim, scarf, fit, and fabricate metal components to dimensions for assembling test site structural forms
  • •Utilize hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld metal components into structural assemblies
  • •Visually inspect own welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 (normal and high-pressure service) with proper training
  • •Improve operations to decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes while working in a fast-paced environment
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • •2+ years of experience with at least one welding process: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or FCAW (college welding program experience qualifies)
  • •Ability to analyze engineering drawings/specifications with training when procedural welding information is unavailable
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain internal licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required
  • •Ability to work multiple shifts with minimal notice and perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor and high-exposure environments
