Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and coordinate field activities according to quality, safety, and procedure requirements, ensuring timely execution of operational goals.
  • •Use monitoring and analysis tools to track drilling parameters and detect anomalies (e.g., circulation losses, kicks, drilling breaks, equipment failures) and support corrective actions.
  • •Verify equipment functionality for drilling operations by checking wiring, connections, sensor installation, running tests, diagnosing issues, and requesting technical support as needed.
  • •Maintain control of equipment and materials via inspections and periodic inventory checks, and initiate replenishment orders for stock.
  • •Analyze gases and hydrocarbon indications, prepare client/internal reports, and prepare lithology profiles and interpret geological formations; provide technical guidance to clients and subcontracted colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Engineering.
  • •Demonstrated practical knowledge and experience in well drilling.
  • •Knowledge of surface mudlogging sensors, their measurements, and interpretation/analysis of those measurements.
  • •Knowledge of specific software for well monitoring, geosciences, and petroleum engineering.
  • •Experience in advanced gas work or M/LWD, plus solid experience in well drilling.
